2021: The Greatest Recruiting Class in Arkansas History

This a list is currently under construction but lists the current Arkansas sophomores many consider to be the best class to come out of Arkansas. Ever. That comes from many reliable sources saying so.

1. Kylin James RB Dumas 4 ⭐️

6’0 210 lbs

James is strong, durable and has deceiving speed. All of a sudden, Dumas is cranking out FBS prospects. James, only a sophomore, has not reached his full potential. He will learn what his body is capable of and 6’0 210 lbs, James could be a force for SEC defenses in the future if the Hogs can land him. James also boasts a 4.0 GPA halfway through is high school career. Many say he could be the best in-state running back since Darren McFadden Here is his tape: https://www.hudl.com/profile/6990357/Kylin-James

2018: 196 carries, 1076 yards and 13 TD

26 receptions, 406 yards and 2 TD

1624 All-Purpose yards

2. Erin Outley TE LR Parkview 4 ⭐️ (smooth, caught 3 TDs as a FR)

6’4 234 lbs

-Little Rock’s next great tight end will not be from Pulaski Academy this time. With the increased focus by Fitz Hill and company on all of the Little Rock School Districts football programs, the talent in Pulaski County will one get better. Outley has exceptional athleticism notably being able to high point the ball and continue to gain yards after the catch.

3. Errington McRae TE Har-Ber 4 ⭐️

6’3 225

(athletic, doubles as hoops star, prototype flex TE)

-Could be a guy like Jimmy Graham, Ron Gronkiwski. Formerly of Forrest City, McRae can block well, runs great routes, catches anything that comes around him and looks like the complete package at tight end. Here’s a look at the highlights at this elite sophomore prospect: https://www.hudl.com/profile/8415635/Errington-McRae

2018: 12 receptions, 189 yards and 2 TD

4A. Kam Turner QB Osceola HS

4b. Torey Phillips DE Hope HS 4 ⭐️

6’5 260

2018: 40 total tackles

5. Chris Haywood DE Foreman 3 ⭐️

6’4 230 lbs

2018: 79 tackles, 38 TFL, 7 sacks, 3 FF

-raw, athletic body, edge type lineman that started as a freshman. Very talented. Haywood could be a quality college prospect out of this small southwest Arkansas town.

6. Jamarien Frye WR Rison 4 ⭐️

6’2 190 lbs

-Frye has tremendous speed and can put the burners on for big gainers. He is the son of former Ark State standout Shamar Bracey.

7. Mason Brotherton TE Mena 3 ⭐️

6’4 243 lbs

(3-sport standout is a raw talent)

2018: 27 receptions, 476 yards and 2 TD

-With limited tape, Brotherton looks like a really good prospect from a school that has not produced many Power 5 conference prospects but Brotherton is the exception. He is a very physical blocker, catches the ball well and knows how to turn up the field and make a big play. He has a great football IQ and the ability to play big time football. Here is a few highlights from the Mena baller: http://www.hudl.com/profile/9770122/Mason-Brotherton

8. Jacolby Williams CB Ashdown 3 ⭐️

6’0 175 lbs

Ashdown’s next shutdown corner

-With La’Darrius Bishop and Buster Brown on the Hill, Williams could be the next big time secondary player out of Ashdown.

9. Cole Joyce FB-MLB Bentonville 3 ⭐️ (draws comparisons to former Hog Peyton Hillis)

-When you pull up the tape, one can see that Joyce has the lateral movement to excel at any position that he will play. Not many people have been talking about him but he will be another college prospect out of Bentonville. https://www.hudl.com/profile/8061620/Cole-Joyce

10. Jonah Hill CB FS Southside 3 ⭐️

6,2 190

Hill is a prototype rangy, long corner with good size to compete at the next level.

11. Marco Avant OLB Forrest City 3 ⭐️ 6’3 190

2018: 67 total tackles, 2 TFL, 4 sacks, 2 INT, 3 FF

-Avant is a long, lean edge type has caught the attention of Arkansas and Ole Miss. Arkansas would hate to lose another Arkansas Delta region player to Ole Miss. Here are some good highlights on Mr. Avant: https://www.hudl.com/profile/8543968/Marco-Avant

12. Daedrick Cail QB 6’0 190 Marion

13. Jared Summons OL-DT LR Parkview 3 ⭐️

6’4 230 lbs

-The brother of Bobby Portis is raw and big boned. He is the player coaches will have their eye on as a player to be watched. Summons is the second on this list from Little Rock Parkview. Coach Brad Bolding believes although Summons is green, Summons could grow into a major college prospect for the Parkview Patriots.

14. Braylon Bishop ATH Ashdown 3 ⭐️

6’0 175 lbs

-Fluid athlete and is a blue-chip baseball outfielder who is already a Razorback commit.

15. Dredon Norwood DB FS Northside 3 ⭐️

-Dredon is the younger cousin of OU corner Tre Norwood.

16. Landon Rogers QB LR Parkview 3 ⭐️ 6’4 220 lbs

-Rogers is the third sophomore player from Parkview that could rise on this list. His ceiling is very high. Rogers is a very exciting quarterback and is impressing. He has really good speed when he needs to scramble, has good touch on short to medium range passes. If Rogers impresses the rest of this season and in summer camps before next season, he could be a player on the rise in this class.

17. Izarius Woods RB Pulaski Academy low 3 ⭐️

18.Travon Duncan OL Warren low 3 ⭐️

19. Jalin Green DB Monticello low 3 ⭐️

20. Deonte Bass- McGhee

21. Elijah White-McGhee
